HOSCHTON — Mill Creek defeated visiting Peachtree Ridge 9-1 in Region 6-AAAAAAA on Tuesday.

Skylar Hayward fanned 11 Lions en route to picking up the win in the circle for the Hawks. Micayla Rood had two hits and stole four bases to power the offense. Hannah Adams and Meghan Cassidy also had two hits apiece for Mill Creek.

Aleix Hudson led the Lions with three hits and scored a run.
